Public Influence Begins With Private Victories — Neil Hubacker from Cornerstone Visits River of Life
Today it is easy to be overwhelmed by the magnitude and the speed of the cultural issues coming at us right now: Presidential politics and election integrity questions (as seen in Windham, NH), the aftermath of the Jan. 6 events at the U.S. Capitol; Covid-19/pandemic issues, heavy-handed lockdowns, schools not opening, vaccines, racial reconciliation issues at times hijacked by other agendas, media cancel culture of Christian or conservative viewpoints, etc.
We must continue to get involved in the culture and public discourse. But our power source must remain our devotion to God and the outworking of that devotion: obedience to the gospel, purity of heart. We must surrender idolatry, sexual immorality, impatience, and complaining to Father God. Public Influence Begins with Private Victory.
