Possessing Life – Part 2 — To accept the new life that Jesus offers, means to walk in freedom and the light. God intends for His people to walk in obedience and understanding. He isn’t a God of blind obedience. He is a Father who desires relationship. God has given us the Holy Spirit to provide wisdom for living in purity and effectiveness. He is plainly available to everyone who is listening. And His wisdom rewards us with freedom, life, and the benefits of goodness. There will always be obstacles to living in God’s presence and obedience. However, we are to lay down those things that keep us numb and unmotivated to growth, change, and effectiveness. Now is the time to surrender our selfishness and become like Christ.
