YOUTH MINISTRY
If you have a heart for teens and a strong desire to encourage their spiritual walk with Christ then chances are you will be a blessing in our youth ministry. Our teens mean the world to us at River. They are the next generation- the future. If you are up for a challenge, lots of laughs, deep discussions and yummy food, then please reach out to our Youth Director, Chris Burger to get involved! All youth volunteers must complete a background check.

PRAYER MINISTRY
We believe, through scripture and church history, that corporate prayer is a vital key to God’s presence manifesting and working among His people in unique ways. We believe His mighty works increase exponentially and His purposes are accelerated when we come together as a body of believers to pray and seek His heart.
Our goal is that each person grows in their confidence in prayer, not just as individuals, but with other believers, gathered together with the sole purpose of experiencing God in powerful ways. We are believing for spiritual transformation in our lives, our church, our cities, and our nation.

CARE MINISTRY
If you have a heart for loving people well during both difficult and joyous times in life then please pray about joining our care ministry team. Whether it be visiting someone in the hospital, bringing a warm meal to a new mother, or sending a random card to someone God lays on your heart, these are all things that turn River from “church” into “family”. We cannot emphasize enough the importance of this ministry and we would be honored if you join the team!

FIRST IMPRESSIONS TEAM
We get one chance to make a great first impression when visitors walk through our doors at River. It is crucial that we are welcoming, helpful, and pro-actively attentive to new guests. Our greeters and ushers serve on the front line in our ministry and they play a significant role in providing visitors with information and resources they need to get further connected into our River family. If you are available on Sunday mornings, have a welcoming personality, and enjoy meeting new people then please consider joining our First Impressions team of ushers and greeters.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
We cherish our children at River. When they walk through our doors they bring life, laughter, emotional honesty, and an innocence that is refreshing. Our goal is to partner with parents to steer their children into a life-long, passionate relationship with Jesus that is contagious to those around them.
If you are passionate about creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere in which children can learn the truth about God’s love in a fun and engaging way, then you’ve come to the right place! All of our children’s church volunteers must complete a background check, our easy virtual ministry training and attend two children’s ministry meetings per year.

EVENT PLANNING
At River of Life, we value community, both inward and outward. One of the best ways to bring people together from all walks of life is by providing fun and meaningful opportunities to gather. If you are creative, organized, and thrive on teamwork then we have a seat with your name on it! The event planning team is pivotal in helping the leadership at River execute the vision for both in-reach (serving our body) and outreach (serving our community) by hosting events within our walls and outside of them.

Are you a gifted vocalist or a musician with a deep desire to worship the Lord? If so, then we strongly encourage you to consider serving on our worship team! AUDIO / VISUAL TEAM
If you like buttons, switches, and wires then we likely need you more than you need us! We are always looking for sound booth techs to help create a visually and audibly pleasing atmosphere during our Sunday morning worship services. If you have a good ear, are quick on the draw and have a knack for multi-tasking then let us know and we will plug you in- no pun intended.
