Immersing people in a vibrant,

impacting relationship with Jesus Christ.

About Us

Why do we exist?

To immerse people into a vibrant, life-transforming relationship with Jesus Christ.

Everything we do at River contributes to this purpose.

Ephesians 4:16 – “From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does it’s work.”

At River of Life we strive for unity as each person contributes to the body. Our motto is “Everyone plays!” Pastor Darrell and his leadership team are passionate about quality. We believe that weekly sermons play a small part in a believer’s overall growth process. Quality growth is a lifestyle of practical application, fellowship and practice. Therefore we are intentional about providing a “playing-field” of opportunity where believers truly become His hands and feet. Our leadership is dedicated to helping each person discover and utilize their unique gifts, talents and passions for ministry. We believe that it is essential to have the right people in the right places doing what they are called to do in order to be an effective body for Christ. We work alongside one another to serve God’s kingdom, our local community and each other.

What has Christ called us to DO?

Matthew 28:18 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

Your initial decision to accept Jesus as Lord is very important… but is not the end game. The Lord expects us to become disciples and make disciples of men. This is a continuous journey that we will all be on until the day we go home to be with the Lord. At River Of Life, we walk the walk together, growing, encouraging and becoming better disciples. Every member of the River family is encouraged to join an Action Group; our strategy for personal and spiritual growth. Action Groups provide six key ingredients for healthy spiritual growth and Discipleship:

1. Sound Biblical teaching and counsel
2. Authentic relationships with fellow River family
3. Open and honest discussion and communication
4. Prayer, encouragement and accountability
5. Opportunity for ministry where your gifts and talents are needed, strengthened and applied to impact our community.
6. Multiplication of leaders as we train and equip one-another to do the work of the ministry
